Atlanta’s legendary Fox Theatre is currently undergoing a bit of a makeover, with the theatre currently converting a large space into a members-only style bar and lounge.
Many of the plans have not yet been fully disclosed, but the project is well underway with a completion date of Fall 2017. Curbed Atlanta details that the space “will be converted into a premium guest lounge with Moroccan-style architecture reflective of the existing theater. Access to the lounge will be membership-based, or general-admission ticket holders can upgrade to the VIP treatment. The lounge will offer enhanced food and beverage service, private restrooms, a concierge, and two rooftop bars. It will be open before and after events, and during intermissions.
No idea yet how much this will cost, though for anyone who enjoys evenings at the Fox and has attempted to either use a restroom or get a beverage during intermission will likely be pleased with the additions (and may be willing to pay the extra membership fees).
